My husband and I are from the beautiful and beloved Salt Lake City, Utah. We settled in Saint Louis Missouri for my husband to obtain a masters in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2009. Ever since, we have fallen in love with this city and the rich fellowship we have found. Despite missing our families and the incredible mountains, we decided to lay our roots here in St. Louis.
March of 2013, we were blessed with the presence and beauty of our daughter. She is the brightest star in our sky and I never knew I could love someone so much. Every new day spent with her, to see her smile, to hear her voice, is a treasure. We know that many families experience unimaginable pain and tragedy in various ways and so we value every good gift.
And in the end, we are homesick for the new heavens and the new earth, that one day when all things will be made right. But until then, we will seek out new adventures in the city and in the wilderness, life together in community, little vintage treasures for our home, a passion for good food, wine, and company, and we will continue to document all the color and beauty in our simple and joyful life as we continue to live in this upside-down kingdom.
