A Copper Kitchen

So THIS is what happens when you and your hoarder friend get together and discuss random fun kitchen project ideas. Not sure exactly how it all went down. All I know is the topic came up, the light bulbs went off, and ta da! The copper kitchen was born.

So she's been hauling this amazing copper polyester film paper I'll call it around for who knows how long and never found a use for it so she gave it to me! We covered the cabinets and drawers with it and ahhh...love love love how it transforms the kitchen. Yes the green is a bit weird now against the copper, maybe I'll paint it later...

We replaced the chrome hardware for fun brass handles. See those grooves on the top and bottom? Perfect fit for those thumbs, so nice to use!

It's a bit janky in spots but that's ok. It's the overall effect we were going for, not perfection.

It will definitely hold me over until we do a complete kitchen re-do one day. Hooray for copper!

PS: this is my everyday view as I work on Etsies. Love her!
